Derick Nguyen

Bio: Derick Nguyen is a junior at Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose, California. Derick has played piano for 10 years, earning the Certificate of Merit Level 10 and various awards from the US Open Music Competition. Additionally, Derick also enjoys dancing as he is a dance choreographer for his school clubs and events. An active member of his school, Derick is president of a dance club and the founder of awareness club, and is also the Director of Publicity and Marketing in his school’s ASB team. He participates in his community through volunteering at establishments such as his local hospital and several awareness programs. In his free time, Derick loves running in his cross country and track team, moments with his friends and family, and baking new recipes.
