Bio: Daniel Chu is a senior at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California. He has been playing piano for over 13 years and has received recognition from competitions like the Vivo International Music Competition, US Open Music Competition, and Camerata Artists International Competition; after recently being named a First Place Winner of the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, he performed in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall. Additionally, Daniel plays violin in the San Jose Youth Symphony's Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Outside of music, Daniel participates in his school's Speech and Debate team, newspaper, and economics club. He is also an avid researcher, with research papers in environmental sciences, computational biology, and cultural studies. Daniel hopes to pursue international relations and business in the future.
